    Product description

Pole is a characterful design without unnecessary details, where the emphasis is placed on high-quality and durable materials and a clean and sleek design language. Nevertheless, Pole appears as an out-of-the-ordinary bar stool. A circular solid seat of solid pine rests on an unconventional base that consists of a powder-coated steel tube. Placed horizontally across the base, a simple, smaller steel tube offers a place to rest your feet, serving as both a functional and decorative element in the design. The design is inspired by brutalist architecture which, with its robust materials and geometric shapes constitutes the foundation for the outline of Pole.

"Creating a design with a simple yet original form is always the biggest challenge in the design process. With Pole, I believe we have succeeded in creating a sturdy piece of furniture made of good, durable materials, with a very recognizable expression," explains designer Simon Legald.

Overall, Pole Barstool presents itself as a simple yet characterful design with contrasting geometric elements and subtle yet functional details.
